Steve, Robert Sheehan and Tom Hopper shared their views in an interview given to the Digital Spy. They also discussed what can be done with the characters like spin-offs and stated that they love working together. During the interview, Steve said, “I think Klaus and Ben (Justin H. Min), or Klaus and Diego (David Castañeda) – Any of those, to me, would be wonderful spin-offs.”

Robert Sheehan and Tom Hopper have confirmed that they will be up for season 3 while talking to some Journalists and BT.com. Robert Sheehan added: “I’d love to do one [another series]. I’m always hatching pipe dreams and sending emails to Steve [Blackman, The Umbrella Academy showrunner], and that’s the fun of it.”
Tom Hopper shared his experience as praised working for the franchise by saying:
“Yeah, we love hanging around in this world, it’s a lot of fun and we all love working together. It’s quite a gift to have the kind of show we have, we have a showrunner who’s very collaborative, it’s very freeing as an actor so yes, absolutely…I’d love to go back and do a bunch more of these.”
