Love and support keep for Britney Spears keep pouring in from her fans and fellow pop stars, especially during a time when she’s in the middle of a complicated and frustrating conservatorship battle. On Monday, the “Kill Em With Kindness” singer ‘Selena Gomez‘ showed her support and love for her fellow Disney alum by sending her a surprise gift package.
The ‘Princess of Pop’ shared a post on Instagram on Monday (19 July), showing the surprise gift package she received from “Rare Beauty,” Selena Gomez’s makeup brand. The caption of the photo read:
“Ok guys … great news ☀️ !!! When I woke up I got a very cool box with a bikini in it ?and my favorite three make up products from @SelenaGomez !!!!”

The package included a bikini set from Selena’s swimwear brand “La’Mariette” and three different products from Rare Beauty (Selena’s makeup brand). The makeup products included: Always An Optimist 4-in-1 Prime & Set Mist, the Pore Diffusing Primer, and the Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight.
Spears praised Selena’s products in her captions by writing:
“Her shimmers are really fun and her spritz for your face before makeup is bomb ? and smells very good !!!!”
And then the 39-year-old ‘overprotected’ singer thanked the ‘Good for You’ singer by writing:
“Selena …. Thank you for surprising me with this gift … I’ve been looking for shimmers ??? !!!!!!”
The 28-year-old singer responded to Britney’s Instagram post by commenting:
“This makes me so happy! I hope you enjoy it – love you so much ?♥️”
Selena Gomez launched her own makeup brand ‘Rare Beauty‘ back in September 2020. Selena believes that makeup is “such a crucial part of my life.”
As reported by E!, during a press conference, Selena said,
“I love imperfection, there’s complete beauty in that. It should be an accessory and it should be something you are proud of wearing—highlighting what makes you feel beautiful. The whole reason why I wanted to create ‘Rare’ was to kind of challenge the beauty space. I didn’t want to be just a celebrity attaching her name to something because that’s definitely not my style. I would feel very disingenuous. I think when you are out and about in your home, I feel like that’s your opportunity to be whoever you want to be.”
Selena added,
“The time has allowed me to really sit with things that may be uncomfortable and to learn so much about what’s going on. I feel that it’s something that I want to be beyond grand, and so, there’s a little bit of everything for everyone.”
After this heart-warming gesture by Selena was shared with the public by Britney, fans from all around the world took it to the micro-blogging platform to share their praise:
