Rick & Morty Voice Actress Spencer Grammer Stabbed in Knife Attack

An unknown man stabbed popular TV show Rick and Morty’s voice artist Spencer Grammer and her friend, on Friday night outside a restaurant. The 36-year old actress is famous as she is the voice of character “Summer” from Rick and Morty.

According to the reports and the statement given by Spencer, she was dining outside a restaurant with her friend around midnight. They were at the Black Ant restaurant, located in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood. A man arrived at the restaurant for food but was denied any service as the restaurant was closing. A feud started between the unknown man and the restaurant staff.

Spencer Grammer and her 32-year old friend tried to stop them by breaking them up, but were hurt in the process. The unknown man had a blade, by which he stabbed Spencer’s right arm and her friend in the back. The man soon fled from scene after injuring both of them.

The suspect is still at large and the police are still looking for him. A surveillance video was released showing the attacker and the police are offering a reward for identifying the assailant.

Spencer and her friend are recovering well and have not received any major injuries. She thanked the emergency response teams for taking good care of her and her friend. Spencer Grammer is the daughter of the famous Actor Kelsey Grammer, known for his work in the Boss and Frasier.

Kelsey Grammer is a man of wits and such family tragedies are not something new to him. At the age of 13 his father was shot dead and he has even his sister was raped and murdered back in 1975. He has seen the horrors of such tragedies and this latest incident with his daughter isn’t something new to him.
