Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn Reveals She Received Death Threats

Selling Sunset’s star Christine Quinn has revealed that she received death threats because of her on screen “show Villain” persona after the first season. She added that because of the threats and the bullying, she had to tone down her character.

According to Christine, she had a hard time shooting the second season of the show as the editors of the show were worried about her performance. She stated that, “We definitely were a little more reserved going into season two. I was scared. I was a little scared. The first few episodes of season two, the editors were like, ‘Where’s the other Christine? Where’s Christine?’ I’m like, ‘Well, that Christine gets death threats.”

She claims that she wasn’t aware that she would be portrayed on-screen in this manner like a “villain”. However, she finds it a little funny and she loves doing  the show and is comfortable with her role.

The third season of the show has been released on Netflix last Friday (7 August) and it is filled with more spice and emotion. This season is more focused on Christine Quinn’s wedding with Christian Richard and Chrishell Stause’s divorce from Justin Hartley.

In an interview given by Christine Shine to People, she opened up about her relationship with the co-star Chrishell. She commented that they are not friends, although she wanted to be but Chrishell did not want to be friends. Rumors are that she might be exiting the show after this season.
