Kobbie Mainoo, who has been shining for Manchester United and now for England, put on a fantastic show that won him the Man of the Match award during England’s latest friendly game against Belgium, which ended in a 2-2 tie.

At just 18 years old, he made his first start for England’s senior team and during his time on the field at Wembley, he did everything he could to impress ahead of Euro 2024.
After the match, Jude Bellingham, who saved England with his goal and knows what it’s like to be young and in the spotlight, praised Mainoo. He suggested that Mainoo has a great future ahead.

Following two impressive outings for England in March, Mainoo is now firmly in the discussion for a spot in the Euro 2024 squad. And I can’t wait to watch him in action on Discovery Plus UK.
Mainoo was instrumental in the play leading to England’s penalty, converted by Ivan Toney, in the first half. For his efforts against Belgium, Mainoo was named Englandâs Player of the Match that evening. He said that:
Being called up and playing for England is an honour.
Mainoo has made a stellar start to his international career with England, delivering performances that have made a significant impact. However, injuries have made England’s defense less solid, and with no victories in their two friendlies in March, there’s pressure to improve before the European Championship begins.
Make sure you are subscribed to Discovery Plus UK and have your ExpressVPN lined up to watch Mainoo in action via TNT Sports.
