The Traitors: The Movie, based on season two, is set to premiere on Friday, March 15, and you can watch it on BBC iPlayer abroad. I know I will!
Suranne Jones, famous for her roles in Doctor Foster and Gentleman Jack, will appear with the iconic black hair and bangs of Claudia Winkleman.
From Bridgerton, Jonathan Bailey will take on the role of the cunning Traitor Harry, with David Walliams as his co-conspirator Paul, and Sally Phillips will play Diane, who loves fizzy rosé.
You’ll also see Asim Chaudhry as Jaz, Kiell Smith-Bynoe as Miles, and Iain Stirling as Ross. Catherine Tate will combine the characters of Evie and Charlie into one. Plus, Mollie Pearce, a contestant from the second season, will return to play herself.
I’m so thankful to Comic Relief for making this happen. It’s like I’m in a funny alternate world, and it’s fantastic. Don’t believe me? Check out the trailer here:
This reality game show has been a monumental success for the BBC since its debut in December 2022. It is set in a Scottish castle, capturing the imagination of millions, blending suspense with the challenge of uncovering the traitors among us. Season two’s ratings soared, a testament to its growing popularity.
And now, its spoof, ‘The Traitors: The Movie’ is set to bring all this excitement into a new format, airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 7pm this Friday, March 15. Don’t miss it!
