This Friday, February 9th, the eagerly awaited “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials XXIII: The Ultimate Countdown” will premiere on CBS and Paramount Plus outside US. It offers audiences a unique and entertaining look back at the most iconic Super Bowl commercials of all time.
The special event, hosted by Boomer Esiason, an analyst on The NFL Today, and renowned actress Daniela Ruah, known for her role as NCIS Special Agent Kensi Blye on CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles, promises an evening filled with nostalgia, laughter, and the spirit of competition.
Broadcasting live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the venue for Super Bowl LVIII, the show marks its 23rd year in celebrating the creativity and impact of Super Bowl commercials. Kevin Frazier, co-host of Entertainment Tonight, joins the event again as a contributor, teasing some of the most anticipated 2024 Super Bowl spots.
The special will feature an array of memorable commercials, including the iconic Coca-Cola ad featuring Mean Joe Greene, Budweiser’s humorous Lamb Streaker, and the witty E-Trade Baby, among others. These ads represent just a sample of the groundbreaking work that has captured the hearts and imaginations of viewers over the years.
Throughout its history, the “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials” special has seen a dozen commercials rank first or second in viewer voting. This year, Esiason and Ruah will undertake the challenging task of ranking these finalists in an Ultimate Countdown before unveiling their top two favorites.
In a thrilling twist, the final decision will rest in the hands of the viewers, who will have the opportunity to vote live and crown the ultimate Super Bowl commercial.
The production of this special event is a collaborative effort between Film 45 and JUMA Entertainment, with Robert Horowitz serving as the executive producer for JUMA Entertainment and Ben Bitonti and Tony Lanni fulfilling the roles of executive producers for Film 45.
Don’t miss this unique celebration of advertising creativity and the unforgettable moments that Super Bowl commercials have provided. Tune in to CBS or stream on Paramount Plus this Friday to join in on the fun and vote for the greatest Super Bowl commercial ever.
