Food Network is going to Paris with its latest show, “Next Baking Master: Paris,” premiering on Monday, May 6th at 9 pm ET/PT. In the City of Lights, ten super-skilled American bakers will compete to win the title of Baking Master.

Hosted by pastry pro-Stephanie Boswell and French chef Ludo Lefebvre, this isn’t just another baking show. It’s a journey through Paris, showcasing its iconic pastry shops and baking brilliance.

These bakers will get tips from French baking stars and battle it out in the kitchen. Each week, one baker says goodbye until one remains as the ultimate baking master.

Besty Ayala the big boss of Food Content at Warner Bros. and Discovery, says:

As the world’s attention turns to the City of Lights leading up to this summer’s Olympic games, Paris is not only a location in Next Baking Master: Paris, it’s a main character.

Who’s competing? The production crew has selected a mix from across the US, like DeAndra Bailey from Baltimore and Brooke De Jong from Alabama, all the way to Jennalyn Walbolt from New Jersey. The winner will secure a prize of $25,000 worth of top-notch French baking gear.

Chef Lefebvre and host Boswell also shared remarks on the upcoming show:

This Paris experience is a once-in-a-lifetime dream for the chefs. It’s so cool to now welcome these competitors to Paris to live and breathe the amazing baking and pastry culture the city offers – it’s the best in the world. I am so excited.

The premiere is a 90-minute treat where bakers whip up desserts that scream “me” using French techniques. They’ll also get to learn about cream from pastry chef Quentin Lechat at the swanky Royal Monceau Hotel.

Viewers can expect chocolate lessons from Jade Genin, a French soufflé challenge, and a peek inside the world-famous Ladurée.

And for those of us watching on Discovery Plus outside USA? Food Network’s socials will also offer a sneak peek into the bakers’ Paris penthouse.

Get ready for May 6th to stream “Next Baking Master: Paris” and be inspired by these bakers!
